Hi All, Some suggestions please: After it has rained, I often get wet when driving my truck. Water drips off from the top of the door, after it has run from under the roof lining. It tends to start dripping once I have applied braking (so maybe pushing the water forward). I don't think the water is stored up there for long, as the roof lining doesn't feel wet, and hasn't gone moldy. Is there a metal or plastic tray layer under the roof in a county station wagon, that the lining then attaches too? (In which case, could the water be sitting between my actual roof, and this tray layer?)
Any suggestions welcome. But please note, I am not really keen on pulling my roof lining down if it can be avoided! (It is sitting rather nicely at he moment).
Thanks folks.

Hi Olly, If you go back a page where you can click on different people's initial posts ... there is a 'create thread' button at the top right of the box.

Hi John,
Try the rain gutter, the rivets get loose and water gets through into the roof lining, when you break the water rushes down the gutter and naturally rushes to the front of the vehicle.
I resealed my whole gutter, painted it, no more rain coming in!

Hi John, Thanks for that. Yes, it is that exact symptom. My dad tried resealing the gutter but it may have required a little more. It certainly seems to do it less since, but didn't cure it. I'd have to check where those rivets are to understand where you mean. I was also concerned it may have been coming in from all over the roof where it is made of sections? If it is just the gutters, it should be easier. Will you be attending an event (where you can show me?) Cheers. Please feel free to Facebook message me (https://www.facebook.com/john.clark.9883?ref=bookmarks) or email (johnthedrummer@hotmail.co.uk) if you are not currently a full member of the club and wish to do our events. Cheers.
(And thanks for checking out the forum. It seems you are the only one since July 2017!)
